“Hello! I'm Jennifer. Lover of the forest and all things whimsy. My fiancé and I live on the cutest little piece of land outside of Stony Plain, AB, that we are slowly filling with gardens and chickens, dogs and free ranged children. Next we are hoping to bring home a small flock of milking sheep! We also run a small construction company that I do the bookkeeping for.

I hold a business diploma in finance which landed me a job at a non-profit wildlife research institute in Hinton, AB. I did administrative duties for the GM and the accountant as well as the biologists I worked with. After this, I graduated as a nurse and spent most of my career on an orthopedic surgery unit where we fixed up fractured hips. Later on, I took interest in a more holistic approach to health which lead me to getting education in that world as well.

Now, here I am today, starting a new career path after having my second child. I am coming full circle back into the business world. But this time with more life experience and skills to offer! As you can see I like to learn, and I am looking forward to gaining more experience as a VA and bookkeeper.”

  • One thing that I absolutely love is my garden. One day I stumbled upon a regenerative gardening course and it was an instant gut feeling that I had to take it.
